Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Technical Assistant
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subjects (e.g., Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, etc.) with at least 60% marks and one year of relevant experience.
- Desirable: Experience in handling advanced analytical instruments, working in quality control labs, or research labs.
- Technician (Grade 1)
- Essential:
- 10th Standard with 55% marks and ITI certificate in the relevant trade OR
- Two years of full-time apprenticeship in the relevant field.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience in laboratory work, maintenance, or relevant technical skills.
- Essential:
Age Limit (as of 31.01.2025)
- Technical Assistant: Maximum 28 years
- Technician (Grade 1): Maximum 28 years
- Age relaxation applies as per government norms for reserved categories.
Selection Process
- Trade/Skill Test
- Candidates will be shortlisted for a skill/trade test specific to the applied post.
- Written Examination
- Paper 1: Mental Ability Test (50 Questions, 100 Marks, No Negative Marking)
- Paper 2: General Awareness and English Language (50 Questions, 150 Marks, Negative Marking Applies)
- Paper 3: Concerned Subject Knowledge (50 Questions, 150 Marks, Negative Marking Applies)
- Merit List
- Final merit will be based on performance in the written examination.
