Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 17.5 years
- Maximum Age: 21 years
- Candidates born between 3 January 2005 and 1 July 2008 are eligible.
Application Fee
- ₹550/- for all categories.
Educational Qualifications
Science Subjects
- Option 1: Passed 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
- Option 2: Passed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English (if English is not a subject in the diploma, marks in Intermediate/Matriculation will be considered).
- Option 3: Passed a 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Other Than Science Subjects
- Passed 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
- Or, passed a 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English (if English is not a subject in the course, marks in Intermediate/Matriculation will be considered).
Selection Process

Written Exam Details
- Science Subjects: 60 minutes (English, Physics, Mathematics – CBSE 10+2 syllabus)
- Other Than Science Subjects: 45 minutes (English and Reasoning & General Awareness – RAGA)
- Combined Exam: 85 minutes (English, Physics, Mathematics, and RAGA)
Marking Scheme:
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Unattempted: 0 marks
- Wrong Answer: −0.25 marks
