Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of four main stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE):
- Objective-type questions in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Measurement of height and chest (male candidates) and physical races (5 km in 24 minutes for men, 1.6 km in 8½ minutes for women).
- Medical Examination & Document Verification:
- Verification of physical fitness, medical standards, and documents.
- Final Merit List & Force Allocation:
- Based on normalized CBE scores and NCC bonus marks (if applicable).
