UGC NET December 2024 Notification: Apply Now
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET December 2024 Notification. Interested candidates can apply from 19 November 2024 to 10 December 2024 through the official portal. The exam will be conducted from 1 January to 19 January 2025 in CBT mode across multiple shifts.

Application Process
Follow these steps to complete your UGC NET December 2024 application:
- Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on ‘Application Form’ at the homepage bottom.
- Select ‘New Registration’ and fill in your details.
- Complete the application form with accurate information.
- Upload the required documents:
- Passport-sized photograph (10–200 KB, JPEG).
- Signature (4–30 KB, JPEG).
- Pay the application fee:
- General: ₹1150
- OBC/EWS: ₹600
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: ₹325
- Submit the application form and save the confirmation page for future use.
Eligibility Criteria

Exam Overview
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Duration:
- Paper I: 1 hour (General Aptitude).
- Paper II: 2 hours (Subject-specific).
- Marking Scheme:
- Paper I: 50 questions, 100 marks.
- Paper II: 100 questions, 200 marks.
- Shifts:
- Shift 1: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
- Shift 2: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
